Previously registered users are entitled to a free upgrade to version 3.0. Simply click the "Automatic Upgrade" button in the shareware reminder dialog. You will be prompted to locate your previously-registered copy of LaunchPad.
PLEASE UPGRADE IMMEDIATELY AND BE SURE THAT YOUR COPY IS PROPERLY UNLOCKED BEFORE DELETING YOUR OLD VERSION!
You can verify that your copy is properly unlocked by checking the "About LaunchPad™…" dialog. Registered copies should state "This copy of LaunchPad™ is registered and should not be distributed."
PLEASE KEEP A BACKUP OF YOUR REGISTERED COPY. This will help you to avoid downtime if something should happen to your copy.

If you own a registered copy of LaunchPad, and would like to give an unregistered copy to a friend, you can use the following procedure:
1. Use the Finder to make a copy of LaunchPad.
2. Launch (double-click) the copy.
3. Select "Unregister this copy..." from the Apple Menu.
4. The copy should now be unregistered, and can be freely distributed.
Important Note: The copy to be unregistered cannot be locked (from the Finder's "Get Info" window) and cannot be on a read-only volume, for this procedure to work. You should verify that the procedure was successful by quitting and restarting the copy. An unregistered copy should display the key code entry dialog when you select "About LaunchPad..." from the Apple Menu.
